Freedom must be the best whale watch tour available in Hervey Bay - from the moment you set foot on this vessell you feel as though you are amongst family and friends. The attention to detail was the best. Barry so passionate about his job, his command of the area and experience in boating is an asset, and we feel very privilidged to have him as our captain. Sue and Keith were warm friendly and very interested in the standard on offer, and we felt more like guests than strangers on a tour. David and I would certainly return to The Boat Harbour Resort & Watermark and would stay in your area for longer the next time. We would recommend this faboulous accomodation to anyone! Many Thanks Mary Odgers APRIL 2010 Hi Robin & Rosalind, Just wanted to say thank you for having us last week. We had a lovely time. I would like to say how great I thought the cabins were - it was really a home away from home. You made everything seem effortless and I really appreciated all that you did for us. A couple of things... if you go up the front steps and look up you will see a snake skin on the roof guttering. Our daughter had the pleasure of seeing the last of the shedding when we came home on Friday night!! Awesome! We had a great day on Friday with Tasman Ventures to remote Fraser Island with Lloyd and his crew. It was a far better day than the day before with Fraser Explorer Tours. Lloyd and his team were fabulous, and although they said it was one of the roughest days that had ever had, it all went smoothly. The food was fresh and fabulous, the crew were great and I would recommend that tour to anyone looking for an action packed day. I hope that we can return in August to see the whales..... These two very talented entertainers have stayed at Boat Harbour Resort since 2007 and whenever in Hervey Bay. Rosalind and I always enjoy their company. Greg & Laura Doolan never let their audience down. On stage, the former front man of Australia's most successful cabaret band - Wickety Wak, consistently gives his audiences a live show they won't forget in a hurry. The combination of humour and incredible vocal talent is complimented by his ability to read the audiences. Greg now teams up on stage with Australia's Female voice of the Year - Laura Doolan ( yes! Greg's wife.) Which adds further to the absolute uniqueness of this entertainment package. Laura Doolan is stunning and exceptionally talented. With a voice comparable to the sensitivity of Eva Cassidy to the spine-tingling power of Celine Dion. And the most gorgeous human being behind the scenes.
